Feeling lonely this Valentine’s Day? If no one else has your back, Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch does. This weekend will feature a “quad feed” double XP boost where players can blast through prestiges, level up new event weapons, earn some rare GobbleGums and tear through the season 2 battle pass. The latest double XP weekend runs from Friday, Feb. 14, to Monday, Feb. 17.
Anyone playing Black Ops 6 will have a universal double player XP, double weapon XP and double GobbleGum earn rate applied to their account during the event. This is also the first double XP weekend in Black Ops 6 season 2 that includes a double battle pass XP boost, helping players grind out tiers much more quickly this time around.
The latest double XP weekend has already started in Black Ops 6, which means you’ll earn double XP in any multiplayer match or Zombies game you play right now.
The Terminator crossover event is still live — as is the new Shadow Hunt event, which means enterprising players will have a chance to power-level the new TR2 marksman rifle. Double weapon XP will also help players level up the PPSh-41 SMG from the season 2 battle pass, while the double GobbleGum drop rate will net players more of the new Dead Drop, Modified Chaos and Quacknarok GobbleGums.

When does the double XP weekend start in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?
During the event, players will benefit from double player and weapon XP and a double GobbleGum drop rate.
It’s started. This double XP week kicked off on Friday, Feb. 14, at 1 p.m. ET.

It’s worth starting your game ahead of your gaming session, if possible — as with every Black Ops 6 patch, the update is going to require you to download new content and restart the application.
This patch adds double XP weekend and the Terminator crossover event simultaneously, so it’ll likely be slightly bigger than the usual double XP weekend update.
When does the Double XP Weekend end in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?
Some double XP “weekends” are much longer events, lasting five to seven days. That’s not the case with the latest event. This double XP weekend will end on Monday, Feb. 17. Your double XP tokens will once again unlock after this time.
Here’s when the double XP weekend will end in your time zone:

- CT: Feb. 17 at 12 p.m.
- MT: Feb. 17 at 11 a.m.

Does Call of Duty Warzone have double XP this weekend?
Warzone players will also be able to earn double player XP and double weapon XP during the event.
Call of Duty Warzone has a double XP weekend running in tandem with Black Ops 6. That means Warzone players will also be able to benefit from the double player XP and double weapon XP.
New players have a chance to level up the weapons they unlock from the new and improved Warzone Armory, and returning players can continue unlocking new attachments for the suite of Black Ops 6 weaponry added to Warzone.
The Shadow Hunt begins alongside Valentine’s Day limited time modes
The TR2 marksman rifle is the highlight of Treyarch’s newest event.
Black Ops 6’s latest update bundled love, death and sweet new guns. The Shadow Hunt event is live now, and will end on Thursday, Feb. 20.
There are six unique rewards available in the Shadow Hunt event — to unlock these rewards, players need to complete one of its associated challenges. Each reward has a multiplayer, zombies and Warzone challenge, so any Call of Duty player can unlock the entire slate of Shadow Hunt rewards regardless of their preferred game mode.
Completing Shadow Hunt challenges will net you the Unburied Hatchet spray, Stealth Hunter emblem, Wolfhound weapon charm, the Slipstream multiplayer perk, a one-hour double XP token and the Binary Trigger fire rate mod for the Tanto .22 SMG. Upon completion of the event, players will unlock the TR2 marksman rifle — BlackCell battle pass owners will also unlock an exclusive Bayan operator skin.
Valentine’s Day limited time modes are also available, letting players take on new playlists to celebrate the season.
Couples Dance Off is a 2v2 playlist with respawns turned on, where players will need to work with their partner to defeat the enemy duo. Third Wheel Gunfight is a 3v3 rendition of the popular mode with respawns turned off, where teams of three ensure more chaos will ensue in each round on such tiny maps. If you’re not particularly feeling the love in the air, a new generic small map moshpit playlist has been rolled out for players to sprint, slide, run and gun their way to victory.
The Terminator event in Black Ops 6
He’s back, and he heralds the rise of the machines.
The Terminator crossover event started in tandem with the last double XP event and ends on Thursday, Feb. 20.
It’ll function similarly to the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event launched for CODmas 2024. Instead of collecting Jolly Archies, though, players will be collecting skulls to redeem for new special rewards.
There are 13 unlockable rewards associated with the new Terminator event. The big-ticket items include a Full Auto Mod for the AEK-973 marksman rifle and a new blueprint for the PP-919 SMG. Leaks suggest the other rewards will include double XP tokens, a calling card, an emblem, a weapon charm, a spray, a loading screen, a weapon sticker and the new Reactive Armor Warzone perk.

To collect the skulls to unlock the new items, you need to pick them up from eliminated players, zombies or Warzone caches. Once you have the requisite amount of skulls, you can exchange them for an item of your choice.
